Around The Ground Recap Round 4

The Subiaco Football Club hosted their third match day of the 2019 season last Saturday with a series of events going on around the ground to support another match day.


For the first time in nearly a decade Subiaco was the home team for a WAFL ANZAC Round fixture, meaning that Subiaco’s players were able to observe a pre-match ANZAC ceremony on their home field of Leederville Oval.

The Winners - Round 4, 2019

Subiaco’s league and reserves sides remained on the unbeaten track following wins over Peel on Saturday, including an over 10 goal thrashing by the league side.


That league win was one of Subiaco’s best four quarter performances of the year helping make it four from four to start 2019.

Subiaco Overpower Peel in One Sided Round Four Win

Subiaco has continued its winning start to the 2019 WAFL Season, overpowering Peel with one of its best performances of the season at Leederville Oval yesterday.


Subiaco kicked seven goals to one in the first quarter to build a 37 point quarter time lead before extending the lead at every change eventually running out 62 point winners.

Subiaco Congratulates Premiership Player Mundy on 300 AFL Games

Former Subiaco premiership player David Mundy is set to achieve an incredible AFL feat by playing in his 300th AFL match this weekend.


The popular Mundy who is a former captain of the Fremantle Dockers becomes just the second Fremantle player to achieve the 300 game milestone, after long-time teammate Matthew Pavlich.
