Thursday, May 31, 2018 - 7:59 AM

Subiaco are set to celebrate both their annual Family Fun Day and Member Appreciation Day in the next home game, Saturday June 9th against East Fremantle.

A recent regular of Subiaco’s home seasons, both the Member Appreciation and Family Fun Day have been opportunities for Subiaco to acknowledge the outstanding support of its members and give the next generation of Subiaco players a showcase day at Leederville Oval.

For 2018, it was decided that these two initatives be brought together, looking to provide a match day experience for members and juniors that is the pinnacle of WAFL football.

A number of experiences will be available for all members and kids on the day while there are a number of opportunities to win great prizes, simply by being at Leederville Oval on Saturday June 9 when Subiaco battle East Fremantle.

For the kids, a kid zone will be set up and in operation from 12.30pm, with junior footballers able to test their skills in some football games and all children able to enjoy the inflatables that will be positioned in the kid zone in the northern pocket of the ground, next to the Subiaco supporters stand.

Meanwhile for Subiaco Members, a number will be guests in the President’s Function pre-match, along with the first 100 members through the gate on Saturday June 9th receiving a free gift courtesy of the Subiaco Football Club and competition partner McDonalds.

To compliment all of these Subiaco run features, the WAFL will also be hosting Ronald McDonald House Charities at WAFL Games in Round 10, with face painters, a dedicated McDonalds activity area and McDonalds guests also in the crowd.

Winning will also be the order of the day. For the junior clubs, they will compete in the half time race with a signed Subiaco Jumper on the line while simply by spending $10 in the Subiaco bar all fans can go into a draw to win a jumper signed by the Subiaco leadership group including coach Jarrad Schofield.

Be sure to get to the game early with the Junior Parade to commence at 1.45pm and stay for the conclusion with Subiaco players giving away signed footballs and AFL tickets up for grabs for the juniors at the games conclusion.

Junior footballers from all Subiaco District clubs are encouraged to attend the Junior Parade and can get a complimentary family pass including entry for two adults by speaking to their respective junior club.

Subiaco looks forward to hosting all members and junior footballers for what promises to be a great day at the footy on Saturday June 9th.
