Arthur Livingstone Honoured
- Friday, 14 October 2016
Not many clubmen have displayed the level of dedication that Life Member Arthur Livingstone has to Subiaco.
Livingstone has been involved with the club for over 40 years and was acknowledged at the 2016 Outridge Medal with the President’s Trophy for outstanding service last Friday night.
The Subi Life Member started managing the time for the reserves in 1970 before taking the league gig in 1987.
Livingstone remained in this position through some of the greatest years in the club’s history and finally hung up the stopwatch at the end of 2016.
Fellow Life-Member Basil Fuller responded glowingly when questioned on Livingstone’s input to the club.
“He’s a truehearted gentleman in every sense of the word and his impact on the club has been un-yielding,
“Passionate, dedicated workers are what keep the Subiaco Football Club moving and Arthur is a perfect example of that character.”
“He is one of those people you love seeing on game-days and the Subiaco Football Club greatly appreciate his dedication over the last 46 years of service.” Said Fuller
Livingstone retires at the end of the 2016 season. Thanks for everything Arthur
