Subiaco executed their best first quarter of the entire season in the first Semi Final to boot nine unanswered goals.

Rhys McAlister was dominant in the first half; proving far too lively for the Demons defenders to record four majors.

Ryan Vermeersch also showed how much he had grown over the season; exhibiting a best on ground performance with 25 disposals and three goals.

The Lions defence were phenomenal, holding Perth to just one goal and five behinds by the major break; with Corey Buscall’s kicking and defensive prowess over Demons key forward Alex Moreno a stand out.

With Joshua Deluca and Aaron Summers carving up the wings for a combined 49 possessions, the Lions went on to record a famous 52 point win.

The Lions faced a huge challenge in facing the previously untouchable Claremont Tigers in a Preliminary final.

The Colts got off to a lively start to lead by five points at the first break with big man Jordan Bestry troubling the Tigers defence.

Unfortunately the Tigers grinding game style got the better of Subiaco again; as they pressured the Colts into rushed disposal and maintained dominance of possession.

Despite a tough fight, Claremont were able to outlast the Lions to inflict a  60 point defeat on our young chargers.
