SUBIACO will hope their form comes full circle when they face West Perth in round 10, their final fixture before the state game bye.
The Lions have now faced all eight other WAFL teams and finished with a 4-4 record.
The round one 24-point win over West Perth begun a run of four straight wins to start the season.
But four straight losses to Perth, East Perth, Claremont and Swan Districts since has derailed the Lions season.
West Perth have made a slow 3-5 start to the season, making this fixture between the old rivals an early season must win for both clubs.
Subiaco will have a double-bye after this round with the state game bye and then a regular WAFL fixture bye.
Half-back flanker Joey Daye said it's important the Lions take a win into their mid-season break.
“I think the last four weeks have been very disappointing but it's important we get some confidence heading into the bye and then refresh and come out on the other side ready to fire,” he said.
"We've just gone away from the game plan a bit. We just need to try and reset and sort that out."
The Lions have won their last two matches over the Falcons including last year's preliminary final 8.8 (56) to 5.11 (41) at a wet and wooly Arena Joondalup to win through to the grand final against Claremont.
League bounce down is at 2.10pm, reserves at 11.40pm and colts at 9.10pm.
