ROB FORREST MAKES 50
Congratulations to Rob Forrest who plays his 50th WAFL game today.
Rob from Kalgoorlie made his debut back in 2005, when he played 1 league game.
Scott Watters said, “Robert’s development over the last 2-3 years
has been a testament to his great work ethic and competitive nature.
With great speed and tackling ability, Robert has established himself
as one of our key mobile defenders.
50 games is a fantastic achievement and Robert is another of our Kalgoorlie products to reach
a high level at this football club.”
Today’s game is an ABC televised match and at half time will feature senior player Robert Forrest and his mum Rhonda who is currently facing her own battle with breast cancer. The support Robert has received from teammates and family has been strong.
AIDAN PLAYS 100 ON THE TROT
Aidan returned to the Lion’s Den back in 2005 after spending 2 years on the Adelaide Crows list. Since returning he hasn’t missed a game for the Lions and today chalks up his 100th straight.
Well Done Aidan! The club and all supporters wish you the best for today’s match
